Kuba, founded only as recently as the mid-18th century is the Principal town in an area between Shirwan to the South and Daghestan to the North. Very distinctive characteristics of design in direct contrast to the Muslim culture expressed in rug design being cross- shaped flowers, star shaped flowers, cruciform medallions
and double E motifs.
