The pile of this rug is made with pure wool with silk highlightings. The entire warp and weft are pure silk. Esfahan rugs are among the finest rugs ever made and among the most recognised and appreciated fine rugs. As you would expect, the knotting is extremely fine, and extremely consistent. It incorporates the Shah Abbas design.
