| Most modern design rugs today, are created using hand tuft technique, which is more than satisfactory in most cases. However, in more intricate modern designs, or indeed where only a hand knotted (traditional and very sturdy method of creating a rug) rug will do, a Nepal Collection rug is more suitable. Using superior New Zealand wool, our Nepal Collection rugs are all hand knotted, of course, but do not carry the tell tale fringes, as we spend the time and the effort to close the ends of the rug and close the weft. This gives a cleaner more modern look. These rugs really must be seen to be appreciated as the lustre truly cannot be replicated in pictures, nor can the super soft New Zealand wool be appreciated until it is touched. |
